This would bring the benefits of the external customizations model to one more entity in the data model. Potentially it can be useful to anyone doing integrations for the buyer organizations (all B2B sites).
How will this idea be used?
The use case is to intercept the buyer organization creation/update and do some ERP magic during the pre phase, or simply make sure new data reaches ERP when user decides to update his organization in store front and not via seller/call service. For that I believe all I need is the same sort of intercepts XC already exposes for person (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSZLC2_9.0.0/com.ibm.commerce.developer.doc/refs/rdeuserext.htm ).
