Currently all projects in the RAD workspace are in a single workspace which makes it hard to separate the code on a GIT repo per docker container. This can currently be achieved by totally separating the RAD workspace from the local GIT repo folders and manually diffing and copying the files back and forth to check in or out code. However, it would be nice we can keep the RAD workspace connected to all different GIT repos so we would have one GIT repo for search, one GIT repo for transaction, one GIT repo for xC, ...etc. And by achieving this developers can continue to use GIT plugins from within the RAD workspace to check in and out code without issues.
How will this idea be used?
by achieving this developers can continue to use GIT plugins from within the RAD workspace to check in and out code without issues. Right now to keep the RAD workspace and GIT connected we are forced to keep all code in a single mono GIT repository which is against the principles of micro services.
