Today For SKU 1234, When Qty Tiers are defined
|From Qty||To Qty||Price|
In a Quote/Order
SKU 1234 Qty: 55 is priced as — Unit price 85 —> 85 X 55
It looks like the Pricing API program is using the lowest price to price all the units. This is what Item Quantity Pricing Rule is supposed to do. And the rule does it well.
The Pricing API should price the above 12 units as follows:
First 10 —> 100X 10
Second 40 —> 90 X 40
Third 5—> 85 X 5
To honor the tiered pricing.
How will this idea be used?
To price the products in a tiered pricing model
